Located smack dab between Cleveland and Pittsburgh, the Kennsington Golf Club in Canfield, Ohio, boasts charming greens laid out in rolling terrain that is so unique to the area, you may forget you are in Ohio. Amidst rich woods and natural preserves, Kennsington integrates challenging bunkers and enticing lakes that beg attention from even the most determined golfer. The Brian Huntley-designed course opened in 2006 and was jointly built with a housing development to create a laid-back lifestyle community. The course's signature 8th hole is characterized by an often unintended off-the-bunker shot that cuts an angle to the hole to land near the putting green. The 18-hole, par-71 public course features the only practice facility and driving range in the area. The location will open a brand new American fare restaurant/bar later this year and expects to open a hotel with 120 rooms and a banquet room that can hold up to 800 people. The course does offer weekly and senior discount rates.
