May 20, 2009 -- Jimmy and Mike help Rawiga Country Club and its staff celebrate the Golden 50th Anniversary of the Seville, Ohio, course. For their visit, Jimmy toned down his pants and hit the links with Mike at the 18-hole, par 72, private course, which is more known for being a players' and family social club as opposed to a stereotypical country club. Rawiga was designed by E.L. Packard, who designed more than 100 courses in a notable career that spanned 50 years. He is best known nationally as architect of all four courses at the Innisbrook Resort in Tampa. The course features an elevated Signature No. 6 Hole. It is a regular on the Northern Ohio PGA tournament and has hosted a number of other regional and statewide events, including a Men's U.S. Amateur qualifier. Past Club President and member Greg Helmick tells Jimmy more about how the course has a game for everyone and also discusses the recent renovation project that spruced up its grounds and facilities. The private club keeps family in mind and offers a number of social amenities that can be enjoyed by all, including a clubhouse with spacious grill, full catering services, complete social events calendar, banquet facilities for groups up to 200 and a competition-sized heated swimming pool.
