Brookledge Golf Club Description

Located in the charming city of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Brookledge Golf Club sits on more than 120 acres of rolling hills and woodlands that brings both beauty and challenge to the forefront of the golfing game. Designed by the world-renowned golf course designer Arthur Hills, Brookledge is marked by a naturalized layout with occasional water and strategically placed bunkers. Brookledge originally opened as a nine-hole course in 1941 under the private ownership of Don Walker. The course was taken over by the City of Cuyahoga Falls in 1975, which re-opened the front nine in 1988 and finalized the back nine in 1992, along with a miniature golf course and driving range. Even more recently, the course has unveiled new renovation work that totaled more than $1.1 million dollars and included a state-of-the-art automatic irrigation system, newly sculpted sand bunkers and redecorated clubhouse with veranda. Brookledge has received "Honorable Mention - Best Public Golf Course" in 2008 by Akron/Akron Life & Leisure Magazine and was voted a "Favorite Public Course" in 2007 by Akron Beacon Journal.
