Built in 1927, Bunker Hill is the oldest golf course in Medina County and was originally marked by smaller greens for easier maintenance and finer grooming. In the 1940s, the course was acquired by the Ingraham family who modernized the course by extending the length of the fairways and improving the quality of the greens. This renovation process not only improved the overall experience, but also took the course from a par 70 to par 72. Today, Bunker Hill has some of the greenest of greens around and offers a golf game that is appealing to a full spectrum of experienced (or non-experienced) golfers. In addition, the course uniquely features pink tees instead of black tees as a way to raise awareness about breast cancer in support of the Breast Cancer Foundation. As far as the game on the fairways, golfers that swing with a slice will not favor the Signature Hole, No. 3 a par 5 for its narrow greens that slope into the lining lake and scattered bunkers that extend the entire way.
