'Tee It Up with Jimmy Hanlin' is co-hosted by PGA golf pro, Jimmy Hanlin, and winner of The Golf Channel’s 2010 “Big Break”, Carling Nolan, whom together provide golf tips, strategy and expert advice for mastering the game. Highly regarded PGA golf pro and owner of some of Ohio’s top golf courses, Jimmy Hanlin has provided his solid swing to 'Tee It Up with Jimmy Hanlin' since the show's start in 2006.
Jimmy is the host of the ESPN radio talk show, “The Northern Ohio PGA Golf Show,” on 850 WKNR and has provided “Golf Tips” for WKYC-Channel 3 and WJW- Fox 8. He also co-hosts SportsTime Ohio’s “Celebrity Par 3 Shoot-Out” with Vince Cellini, testing the golf skills of Ohio celebrities as he calls the play-by-play.
He is a two-time Emmy Award winner for his work in television. Additionally, Jimmy has been featured in PGA Magazine, Golfer’s Edge Magazine, Ohio’s Golf Magazine, The Cleveland Golfer’s Bible, Crain’s Cleveland Business and The Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Jimmy is the owner and Director of Golf at some of the region’s finest courses, including Golf Digest five-star rated Little Mountain Country Club in Concord, Ohio; StoneWater Golf Club in Highland Heights, Ohio; and Cumberland Trail Golf Club near Columbus, Ohio.
He also works with many other golf courses and resorts across the country to re-design their marketing and operation plans. Using his contacts in the industry along with his years of experience, he has been able to help many facilities make positive changes that have directly affected bottom lines.
Back on the local links, Jimmy is lead instructor in one of the regions fastest growing golf schools – Hanlin Golf Schools, StoneWater Golf Club in Highland Heights, Ohio. Alongside PGA master professional Bob Bourne and PGA professional Bryan Huff, Jimmy has created a golf school to help players improve all facets of their game.
He was named Best Golf Professional in the region by Cleveland Magazine 2009, and in 2007, he was named Golf Professional of the Year by his peers in the Northern Ohio PGA.
During his professional golf career, Jimmy has toured with a number of mini tournaments, including the Hooters Tour, PowerBilt Tour, Tarheel Tour, PGA Tour and Nike Tour Monday Qualifiers. Additionally, he is a board member of the Northern Ohio Professional Golfers Association of America (PGA).
Jimmy also is head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach at Notre Dame College, South Euclid, Ohio. He is helping take the Notre Dame program to a new level as it moves into Division II status with the NCAA.
Originally from Steubenville, Ohio, Jimmy currently resides in Concord, Ohio, with his wife, Audrey, and sons Hogan and Palmer.

Joining the show’s seventh season as co-host is LPGA professional golfer, and winner of The Golf Channel’s 2010 “Big Break,” Carling Nolan.
A Middletown, Ohio native and graduate of The Ohio State University, Carling proved victorious in the competition show that pits highly skilled golfers against each other in a variety of challenges that test their physical skills and mental toughness. Taking place at Sandals Emerald Bay in Great Exuma, Bahamas, “Big Break” showcased a field of 11 women competing against each other in an attempt to make their lifelong dream of playing alongside the world’s top golfers a reality, with one contestant eliminated each week.
Carling defeated Lili Alvarez of El Paso after a back-and-forth final episode; she gained an advantage on the 17th hole when she made a 25-foot birdie putt to go 1 up with one hole to play.
As champion of “Big Break Sandals Resorts,” Carling was awarded the opportunity to compete in the 2010 Lorena Ochoa Invitational and the 2010 Omega Dubai Ladies Masters on the Ladies European Tour.
While at OSU, Carling was twice named to the Big Ten All-Conference Second Team. Prior to college, Carling was the winner of the 2002 Ohio State High School Girls Golf Championship.
Diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 5, Carling currently acts as a special ambassador for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Children’s Congress and is accompanied around the clock by her insulin pump, affectionately known as Hank the Panc.
